Can anyone explain this?

Can anyone explain to me why a 10 lb cat receives the EXACT SAME dosage of a vaccine as a 130 lb dog (1mL)? Seriously, how can this be considered standard practice? I don’t understand how anyone could think this is okay. I’ll be waiting for answers.

to obtain a immune response ,vaccines should contains specific number of viruses. the size of the animal is not proportional to it’s immune response. vaccine viruses are supplemented with a supportive materials.
why a 1mL? it doesn’t matter the quantity of the supportive material .
